Kinu Mori was born in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan, on 1 September 1901.
Kinu Mori passed away in Yamatokōriyama, Nara Prefecture, Japan, in December 2012, at the age of 111 years, 91-121 days.
RECOGNITION
In June 2010, following the passing of 110-year-old Makoto Okamoto, she became the oldest known living person in Nara Prefecture. Upon her own passing, she was likely succeeded by Komatsu Takenaka.
Her age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 10 March 2012. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
