BIOGRAPHY

Kikue Nakamoto was born in Yukinobu, Yanahara Town (now Misaki Town), Okayama Prefecture, Japan on 22 October 1914. Nakamoto married and settled in Hayashida, Tsuyama City where she had one child.

Known for her lively and cheerful personality, she had many friends in the neighborhood and lived a peaceful life, always with a smile, even after moving into a nursing home. At the time of her 110th birthday, she had one child, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Kikue Nakamoto passed away in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, on June 2, 2025, at the age of 110 years and 223 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 5 December 2024.
