Katsuko Miyake (Japanese: 三宅 勝子) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Katsuko Miyake was born in Japan on 10 December 1913.

On her 108th birthday, she celebrated with her favorite pudding à la mode. She was said to love singing and was always grateful to her caregivers.

Miyakeha passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 110 years and 291 days, due to old age. At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living person in Kurashiki City.

RECOGNITION

Before turning 109, she became the oldest living person in Kurashiki City.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 27 August 2024.
