Kame Kuda (Japanese: 久田カメ) was a Japanese supercentenarian.
Kame Kuda was born on 10 May 1903.
Before World War II, she raised bulls for bullfighting and even entered them in regional competitions. After the war, she took up farming. Following her husband’s death in her 60s, she continued to live independently, working in the fields by herself for many years.
Kame Kuda passed away on 10 February 2015, at the age of 111 years, 276 days.
As of September 2014, she was the third-oldest person in Okinawa Prefecture, after Toshie Yorimitsu and Teru Ōshiro.
Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 18 July 2025.
