Juan Escribano Bruno passed away in Florida, Puerto Rico, on 5 December 2021, at the age of 111 years, 11 days.
RECOGNITION
Following the passing of Emilio Flores Márquez on 12 August 2021, Escribano Bruno became the oldest known living man in Puerto Rico.
At the time of his passing, he was the oldest known living resident of Puerto Rico. Upon his passing, he was succeeded by Rosa Castrodad Meléndez.
Her age was verified and listed as pending validation by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS) organization.
