Jessie Almira Massing (née Misener) was a Canadian-born American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Massing was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on 3 October 1910, to parents Frank Burton Misener (1871–1936) and Helen Isabella Patterson (1880–1957). She had three brothers: Eugene, Benson, and Wayne.

At some point, she married William K. Massing, and the couple had two sons: Clifford and David.

At the age of 107, she moved into an assisted living facility. She celebrated her 110th birthday at Tennyson Court Assisted Living and Memory Care in Williamsville. At the time, it was reported she did not hear clearly anymore, but her sense of humor was “stronger than ever.”

Massing passed away in Amherst, Erie County, New York, USA, on 24 July 2021, at the age of 110 years, 294 days. She was survived by her son Clifford, 3 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-greatgrandchildren.
