BIOGRAPHY

Jéromine Emmanuelli was born in the commune of Palasca in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica, on 27 November 1905. Her parents were Philippe Galleti (1869–1942) and Marie Lucie Guerrini (1877–1975). She had at least seven siblings: Marie-Dominique (1899-1993), Mathilde (1901-1984), Jérômine (1903-1904), Josette Marie Josephine (1908-2003), Marguerite (1909-1911), Marguerite Marie-Jeanne Dite Margot (born 1912), and Elisabeth (born 1914).

On 24 October 1936, she married in François Emmanuelli in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. She had at least two daughters: Dolly Petrignani and Mariaud de Serre (née Lucie-Marc Emmanuelli).

Jéromine Emmanuelli passed away in Venzolasca, Corsica, on 10 December 2015, at the age of 110 years, 13 days. She was survived by her two daughters, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO). This validation is yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
