Jennie Ramey was born in Montgomery County, Tennessee, USA, on 19 April 1904, to Dollie Burton and Henry Workman.

At some point, she married Raymond Ramey and the couple had 7 children.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Round Pound where she served on the Mother’s Board and Cemetery Committee. As of her 110th birthday, she had 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Jennie Ramey passed away in Clarksville, Tennessee, on 30 April 2014, at the age of 110 years, 11 days.
