Isacia Díez Mariscal was a Spanish supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Her age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and recognised by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Díez Mariscal was born in Palencia, Castile and León, on 21 April 1895. She died in Burgos, located in the same autonomous community, on 2 June 2005 at the age of 110 years, 42 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her death, Díez Mariscal was the oldest resident of Castile and León, as well as the second-oldest person in the whole of Spain, after Lucía Madaria Vesga (1894 – 2006).

Díez Mariscal’s age was verified by Miguel Quesada and validated by the GRG on 17 November 2005.
