Irene Wright (née Tinsley) was an American supercentenarian who was among the oldest living people in the state of Kentucky. Her age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Wright was born as Irene Tinsley in Louisville, Kentucky, on 24 January 1892 as the second of six children born to Moses and Lillie Tinsley. She married Jesse L. Wright on 13 October 1912 and had at least one daughter, Lillian, in 1915.

Wright died on 10 November 2002 at the age of 110 years, 291 days. She was survived by her daughter, a grandson, a great-grandson, and a great-great-grandchild, as well as her youngest sister Ada Halppen, who died in 2009 a month shy of her 102nd birthday.
