BIOGRAPHY

Miller was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on 29 December 1908. She was married, and often spoke fondly of her husband in her later years.

For her 110th birthday, Miller received over 3000 cards from all over the world after a request for cards for her went viral, including one from President Donald Trump.

Miller died in a nursing home in her hometown of New Bedford on 24 October 2019 at the age of 110 years, 299 days. She was survived by her daughter and her grandson.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her death, Miller was the third-oldest known resident of Massachusetts after Dorothy Brown and Hazel Plummer. She was the oldest living person in New Bedford.

Miller claimed birth on 28 December 1908. However, research conducted by Stefan Maglov proved that she was, in actuality, one day younger. Her age was validated by LongeviQuest on 25 March 2024.
