Henriette Veillon (née Rousseau) was a French supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).
Veillon was born in the commune of Châteauneuf-sur-Charente in the Charente department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 6 December 1910. She worked as a seamstress. On 5 August 1929, at the age of 18, she married Angel Armand Veillon, with whom she later had children.
Veillon loved dancing well into her centenarian years. At a tea dance in April 2011, she remarked, “I have always loved dancing, and it is a real pleasure to attend this kind of ball!” In her later years, she resided at the Résidence Médicis in Mérignac.
Veillon passed away in Mérignac, Gironde, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, on 26 February 2021, at the age of 110 years, 82 days. At the time of her passing, she had great-great-grandchildren.
Her age was verified by the members of the Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the ESO on 16 February 2021.
