BIOGRAPHY
Henriette Roques was born in the commune of Puissalicon in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France, on 8 September 1905. Her parents were Joseph and Alphonsine Sales. She had at least three siblings: Claude (1899), Marguerite (1902), and Emilie (1910).
At some point, she married.
Henriette Roques passed away in the commune of Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve, on 20 December 2017, at the age of 112 years, 103 days.
RECOGNITION
Roques’ age was verified by Cyril Depoudent, Jimmy Lindberg, and Laurent Toussaint, and was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 17 April 2021.
