BIOGRAPHY
Helene Pratte-Blake was born in La Patrie, Quebec, Canada, on 23 June 1902 (claimed 1901), to parents Hector Chénette (1862–1956) and Obdulie Lefebvre Chenette (1863–1932).
In 1926, she married Charles Auguste Pratte (1897–1970), and the couple had two sons, Lionel (1927–1997) and Charles. Following the passing of her first husband, she married John Blake. Around the age of 95, she moved to St. Louis, after living in Springfield, Massachusetts, for over 77 years.
Helene Pratte-Blake passed away at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on 4 September 2012, at the age of 110 years, 73 days. She was survived by her son Charles, as well as six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
