Gregoria Benito Rodríguez was a Spanish supercentenarian.
Gregoria Benito Rodríguez was born in Peñaparda, Castile and León, Spain, on 4 January 1905. At one point, she moved to France, but returned four years later. She had at least two children, Colasa and José Lorenzo Collado Benito.
At 109, when asked about the secret to her longevity, both Gregoria and her children were quick to attribute it to healthy eating—a habit she maintained even in her later years. In her centenarian years, her physical condition declined due to age, leading to hearing and vision loss, as well as mobility challenges. Nevertheless, even at 110, she remained remarkably lucid and took great joy in conversing with the many visitors who came to see her. On her last birthday, she even played the tambourine.
Gregoria Benito Rodríguez passed away in Peñaparda, on 19 July 2015, at the age of 110 years, 196 days.
Her age has not been validated.
