Gloriam Bellerive was born on 28 June 1901 to parents Joseph Bellerive and Rosa Anna Desrosiers in Saint-Grégoire, Quebec, Canada. She had four siblings: Berthe Bellerive (1903-1987), Blanche Bellerive (1904-1996), Joseph Paul Armand Bellerive (1907-1967), Aline Bellerive (1911-1995). She grew up in Saint-Grégoire, where she worked as a hairdresser. She married husband Joseph Henri Hebert on 25 September 1928. They had two children.
A lifelong fan of the Montreal Canadiens from their founding when she was 8 years old, she continued to watch their games at age 109.
She passed away on 14 January 2013 at age 111, noted as the oldest living person in Quebec.
