Giuseppa Campagna-Rizzo was an Italian-born American supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Giuseppa Campagna was born in Ciminna, Sicily, Italy, on 1 January 1903. She was the daughter of Michele and Maria Aversa and emigrated to the United States at the age of 16.

In America, she worked as a seamstress for Broadway theaters. She later married and had four children. Although she never returned to her birthplace of Ciminna, she maintained a close bond with her nieces and nephews there, writing to them regularly throughout most of her life.

Giuseppa Campagna passed away in New York City, on 15 September 2014, at the age of 111 years, 257 days.
