BIOGRAPHY

Addari was born in Genoni, Sardinia, Italy, on 24 June 1910, to Pietro Addari and Marietta Piroddi. She had six siblings: Amerigo, Amelia, Ranieri, Pietro, Letizia, and Tullio.

At some point, she married a man with the surname Fadda. The couple had five children: Gianfranco, Carlo, Adriana, Anna and Mario.

Her brother Amerigo died at the age of 101, while her younger sister, Amelia, died at the age of 112.

Addari passed away in Sassari, Sardinia, Italy, on 22 July 2020, at the age of 110 years, 28 days.

RECOGNITION

Following the passing of 109-year-old Silvia Deias (31 December 1908 – 29 June 2018) of Assemini, she became the oldest (known) living person in Sardinia. Following her passing, she was succeeded by Maria Nicolina Manca (17 March 1911 – 13 September 2020).

Her age has not been validated.

With a combined final age of 222 years, 145 days, she and her sister Amelia hold the record as the oldest siblings ever to have died in Europe.
