Germaine Proulx (née St-Louis) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
BIOGRAPHY
Proulx was born in Saint-Eustache, Q\uebec, Canada, on 27 February 1906, to parents Godefroy St-Louis and Herméline Landry. She had one older brother, and 14 younger siblings.
At some point, she married Georges Proulx of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, son of Adélard Proulx and Delisca Legault. They were married for 69 years until her husband’s passing.
Proulx passed away in Deux-Montagnes, Q\uebec, Canada, on 23 October 2016, at the age of 110 years, 239 days.
RECOGNITION
At the time of death, she was the second-oldest (known) living person in Q\uebec, behind Louise-Anna Turcotte.
