Monnier was born as Germaine Bernard on 8 March 1913. She lived in Besançon in the department of Doubs at the time of her death on 3 October 2023 at the age of 110 years, 209 days.

RECOGNITION

Monnier was confirmed privately to have reached 110 by Les Grands Centenaires Français. Her name was not publicly known until after her death.
