Marie Marguerite Geneviève de Reviers de Mauny (née de Maussabré) was a French supercentenarian. Her age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO), and recognised by LongeviQuest (LQ).
BIOGRAPHY
Geneviève de Reviers de Mauny was born in the commune of Voussac in the Allier department in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in central France, on 22 March 1902. Her parents were Vicomte Marie Paul Henry de Maussabré (1855–1919) and Marie Antoinette Léonide de Marceschal (1868–1907).
She married Bernard de Reviers de Mauny on 29 June 1926 in Lys-Saint-Georges. The couple lived together at the family estate in the village, a medieval castle surrounded by a moat, until her husband’s death in 1989.
She remained at the property afterward and continued to take an active part in community life. Always attentive to local associations, she regularly attended their meetings and, even well into her centenarian years, took part in evening gatherings. In 2012, she even attended the Neighborhood Festival held in the village square. Although she had been experiencing mobility issues for some time, she had lost none of her lucidity.
Geneviève de Reviers de Mauny passed away in the commune of Lys-Saint-Georges in the Indre department in central France, on 13 July 2013, at the age of 111 years, 113 days.

De Reviers de Mauny’s age was verified by Luc Le Lay, Martin Miet, and Antoine Demarais, and was validated by the GRG and the ESO on 8 July 2013 and 16 March 2023 respectively.
