BIOGRAPHY

Frances Hahn was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on 23 March 1914 to James and Marie (Pavlick) Watkins. She had two brothers and a sister. Hahn got married twice and had children.

At the age of 65, she achieved a significant milestone by earning her GED (General Education Diploma), and two years later, she obtained her real estate license at the age of 67. In 1997, she received recognition as the Senior Woman of the Year from the Illinois Department of Aging. Hahn dedicated herself to community service, notably participating in the Senior Aid Program at the Catholic Charities in Lake Villa, Bright Beginning Children’s Center, until she reached 90. She also maintained active involvement in various organizations, including the VFW Auxiliary, the Woman of the Moose Chapter, and multiple senior bowling leagues.

Frances Hahn passed away in Antioch, Illinois, USA on 17 April 2024, at the age of 110 years, 25 days. She is survived by her daughter, her sons, her stepdaughter, her stepsons, eight grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
