BIOGRAPHY

Frances Boyle was born in Yakima, Washington, USA, on 17 September 1910, to parents Jessie and Everett Byers. Growing up on a small farm in Indiana as one of eight siblings, she helped with chores and walked over a mile to school, though her father would pick them up with a horse and buggy when it rained.

Boyle moved to Washington after marriage and later to Southern California, where she worked as a legal secretary until her retirement at age 65. In 2013, she relocated from Fremont’s Besaro Mobile Home Community to live with her granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Despite occasional memory lapses, she maintained good physical health, and attributing her long life to staying active and eating healthy.
