BIOGRAPHY

Florence Sutton was born in West Tytherley, Hampshire, England, on 20 March 1909. At some point, she got married and went on to have four children: Edward, Richard, Marion, and David.

Florence Sutton passed away in Aylsham, Norfolk, England, on 29 January 2020, at the age of 110 years, 315 days.

RECOGNITION

Following the passing of 109-year-old Edith Emily Wilkinson (13 April 1908 – 12 February 2018) of Hethersett, she became the oldest (known) living person in the county of Norfolk. Upon her own passing in January 2020, she was succeeded by Elsie Helena Aiken (10 July 1911 – 15 February 2020) of Hoveton.

Her age was verified by Dr. Andrew Holmes and Chris Law, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 5 October 2020.
