Flaviano Cruspero Jubane was a Filipino supercentenarian who was possibly the oldest living man from the Philippines at the time of death.

BIOGRAPHY

Flaviano Cruspero Jubane was born in Antequera, Bohol, Philippines, on 22 December 1909. He had 11 siblings.

Jubane married twice, having 9 children in total. Several of his siblings moved to the United States where they died, and Flaviano himself traveled to the USA multiple times. His eldest brother – Rufino Jubane (1907-2000) – worked for the US government and military.

In 2015, he lived in Poblacion, Antequera. One of his brothers, Valentin Cruspero Jubane, died at the age of 103 in 2016.

Jubane died in Antequera, Bohol, Philippines, on 13 February 2020, at the age of 110 years, 53 days. At the time of death, two of his youngest siblings were still alive, both in their 90s.

RECOGNITION

His age was verified by Jeffrey Xu and L.G., and validated by LongeviQuest on 20 January 2023. He was the first validated Filipino supercentenarian.
