Eugénie Raffy (née Reynier) was a French supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Eugénie Raffy was born in the commune of Eyzerac in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France, on 13 July 1905. She moved to Bordeaux with her husband, who worked at the tobacco factory, shortly before the 1930s. Together, they had three children.
Around 2010, she moved into the Protestant retirement home in Chartrons.
Eugénie Raffy passed away in Bordeaux, on 30 October 2016, at the age of 111 years, 109 days.
RECOGNITION
Her age was verified by the members of Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 3 July 2023.
