Étiennette Bourouiba was born as Étiennette Bernard in the commune of Nueil-sous-Faye in the Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, France, on 14 September 1914.
Her age was verified by Guillaume Legris of Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation on 26 August 2025, and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
