BIOGRAPHY
Ethel Densley was born in Owasco, New York, USA, on 3 June 1902, to parents Lewis L. Flesher (1864–1951) and Ada Payne (1883–1983). She had two siblings from her father’s first marriage: Edna (1886–1979) and William Henry (1889–1953), and three younger full siblings: Iva Dorothy (1912–1990), Lillian (1916–2017), and Lewis Dewain (1926–1988). Her paternal grandparents, Henry Flesher (1829–1889) and Mary Hubbard (1826–1900), were born in Hanover, Germany.
She married twice: first to Charles J. Brock (1904–1957) in 1928, and later to Clarence D. Densley (1910–1984). She was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ.
Ethel Densley passed away at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center in Auburn, New York, on 2 October 2012, at the age of 110 years, 121 days.
