Esther García Guzmán was a Mexican supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).

BIOGRAPHY

Esther García Guzmán was born in the village of Rincón del Molino (near Atotonilco el Alto), Jalisco, Mexico, on 18 May 1912. She grew up on a ranch.

After marrying, she was a housewife who helped to raise children. One of her favorite hobbies was singing. She had a brother who lived to be 102.

As of August 2022, one of her children was 80 years old. She was described by her grandson as a “calm, but strong woman.”

Esther García Guzmán passed away in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico on 16 October 2022, at the age of 110 years, 151 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov and Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by the LAS on 19 October 2022.
