Estelline Hermine Kancel (née Samé) was a French supercentenarian whose age has not been validated by LongeviQuest. At the time of death, she was the second-oldest resident of the overseas region of Guadeloupe.

BIOGRAPHY

Kancel was born as Estelline Hermine Samé in Dampierre, Guadeloupe on 7 February 1912 as one of six children born to Octave Samé and Hermance Galvani, who were both farmers. She married and had a daughter, Françoise. She had outlived all five of her siblings by her 100th birthday.

In addition to being Guadeloupe’s second-oldest resident after Émilienne Bécarmin, Kancel was also among the top 10 oldest living people in France.
