Elide Quaroni was an Italian supercentenarian who was among the oldest living people in the region of Lombardy at the time of her passing. Her age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) and recognised by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Quaroni was born in the municipality of Castel San Giovanni, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, on 28 April 1914. During her childhood, she worked as a rice picker and later an embroiderer. Longevity ran in her family, with her mother living until the age of 102.

Quaroni married Cesare Grossi, with whom she had two children, Mario and Lina. As of 2024, she had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Even as a centenarian, she enjoyed using her mobile phone.

Quaroni passed away in Milan, on 28 June 2024, at the age of 110 years, 61 days.

Quaroni’s age was validated by the ESO on 14 May 2024 and was recognised by LongeviQuest shortly thereafter.
