Edith Evaline Erdman (née Smith) was an American supercentenarian

BIOGRAPHY

Edith Erdman was born in Long Bottom, Ohio, USA, on 13 February 1903. Her parents were Andrew Jackson Smith (1860–1924) and Ida Mary Green (1865–1939). She had three brothers, Ancil, Delbert and James Smith; and a sister, Marie Boring.

She was married three times. Her first marriage, in 1919, was to Ira Herbert Boring (1895–1953). They had two children together: Phyllis Winifred Hetzer (1920–2001) and Grant Levine Boring (1927–2003). In 1931, she married Clifford T. Holland (1886–1959), and later, she wed William Richard Erdman (1898–1985). She was a homemaker and a member of Belpre Church of Christ.

Edith Erdman passed away in Gallipolis, Ohio, on 8 September 2015, at the age of 112 years, 207 days.
