David Golden was an American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

David Golden was born in Brooklyn, New York, on 21 July 1915. He graduated from City College with a degree in Business Administration and held various positions throughout his career, including roles as an accountant and as treasurer for a real estate development firm in Manhattan.

At the age of 21, Golden met his future wife, Ethel Rosenberg. The couple married in 1940 and chose to settle in Long Beach. Ethel’s brother, Abner, built four houses in the city. The Goldens moved into one of them and lived there until Ethel’s passing in 2006, after 66 years of marriage. Golden had a lifelong passion for music, art, and reading, and remained actively involved in Temple Benai Asher, formerly known as the Sephardic Temple of Long Beach.

Golden passed away on 23 July 2025 in Long Beach, New York, United States, at the age of 110 years, 2 days.
