BIOGRAPHY

Caroline Pullar was born Dragica Belavić in Mrežnički Brig, Karlovac County, Croatia (then Austria-Hungary), on 9 November 1908 (claimed 1907). She immigrated to the United States with her parents, George and Kata Belavić.

In 1925, Caroline married Mark Pullar, and together they settled in the Collinwood area of Cleveland, where they raised two children. They shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 1976. Caroline remained in their family home for most of her life but spent her final seven years at Salida Woods Assisted Living.

Caroline Pullar passed away in Mentor, Ohio, USA, on 6 February 2019, at the age of 110 years, 89 days. She was survived by her son Albert, brother, Andrew, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

Pullar’s age was verified by Dr. Andrew Holmes, Stefan Maglov, and Waclaw Jan Kroczek, and was validated by the ESO on 27 February 2022.
