BIOGRAPHY

Falcone was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, on 27 May 1913, as the eldest of four children born to parents Basile Saccone (1875–1957) and Mary Catarina Farfalla (1889–1990), both of whom were Italian immigrants. She had three younger siblings, all of whom she survived: Samuel, William, and Mary Snipple.

In 1942, she married Anthony Falcone (1913–2001). She worked for Joseph and Feiss as a seamstress for over twenty years.

Falcone passed away in Mackinac Island, Michigan, USA, on 28 August 2023, at the age of 110 years, 93 days. She was survived by her daughter Camille, two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

At the time of death, she was the third-oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Michigan, behind Bonita Gibson and Etta Louise Burkhalter.
