Bruno García Raygoza was a Mexican supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS). He is currently the oldest known person who died in the State of Nayarit.

BIOGRAPHY

García Raygoza was born in San Sebastian del Oeste, Jalisco, Mexico, on 6 October 1909. He lived on a ranch called “La Carbonera” in El Coapinole (now likely Coapinole neighbourhood of Puerto Vallarta). He married Filomena Díaz Hernández (10 September 1921 – 13 September 2022). The couple had 14 children.

García Raygoza passed away in Valle de Banderas, Nayarit, Mexico, on 3 June 2020, at the age of 110 years, 241 days.

RECOGNITION

His age was verified by Stefan Maglov, Jeffrey Xu and Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by the LAS on 21 June 2020.
