BIOGRAPHY

Aubertin was born as Marie Blanche Henriette Cousin in Relanges, a commune of the Grand Est department of Vosges, on 23 January 1900.

Aubertin died on 24 April 2011 in Darney, very close to her birthplace of Relanges, on 24 April 2011 at the age of 111 years, 91 days. She was the fifth-oldest living person in France prior to her death.

RECOGNITION

Aubertin’s age was verified by Luc Le Lay, Cyril Depoudent, and Les Grands Centenaires Français, and was validated by the GRG on 28 July 2010. Her age was later validated by the ESO on 18 November 2022.
