BIOGRAPHY

Levaillant was born Berthe Cherrier in the commune of Boulleret, Cher department, Centre-Val de Loire region, France, on 16 July 1912.

Levaillant passed away in Creil, Oise department, Hauts-de-France region, France, on 1 November 2023, at the age of 111 years, 115 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Cyril Depoudent of the Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the ESO on 6 October 2022.

On 29 December 2022, following the death of 111-year-old Marie-Louise Dambre, she became the oldest living person in the region of Hauts-de-France.
