BIOGRAPHY
Bertha Shifflet was born in Cheviot, Ohio, United States, on 18 September 1913, to parents Peter Wolfram and Katherine Gimpel. She had four siblings: Wendel, Alfred, Steven, and Carl.
At the age of 16, she married Alvin Shifflet and they had six children together: Raymond, Phyllis, Barbara, Cynthia, Delores and Paul. She spent most of her life in Westwood and later moved to Fairfield. At 109, she had 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. During that time, she would spend most of her day praying with her rosary and loved when family came to visit her.
Bertha Shifflet passed away in Fairfield, Ohio, USA, on 11 November 2023, at the age of 110 years, 54 days.
