BIOGRAPHY
Serrano Chávez was born in San Agustín, Usulután Department, El Salvador, on 11 June 1915 (claims 6 September 1914).
As of May 2024, her oldest living child was 90, and her youngest child was 70. She attributed her long life to eating beans and herbs. At the time, she was healthy, spoke well, and did not take any medications. Her younger brother, Florencio, was 101 years old at the time.
