BIOGRAPHY
Antonina Lupo was born in Castelbuono, Palermo, Sicily, Italy, on 19 December 1907. She lived in Milazzo for many years.
On her 110th birthday in December 2017, the Madonite municipal administration—including the mayor, deputy mayor, and councilor for Social Services—visited her home to celebrate the occasion alongside her family and friends.
Antonina Lupo passed away in Castelbuono, Palermo, Sicily, on 8 May 2018, at the age of 110 years, 140 days. She was survived by her three children, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
RECOGNITION
Lupo’s age was verified by Alessandro Delucchi and validated by the ESO on 4 August 2021.
