The anonymous lady was born on 16 July 1905. She passed away in Kyoto City in September 2018, at the age of 113.

RECOGNITION

In September 2013, she was reported to be the eighth-oldest living person in Kyoto Prefecture. By September 2014, she had become the fifth-oldest, and in September 2015, the fourth-oldest living person in the prefecture.

Following the death of 110-year-old Shigeno Shiomi on 7 April 2016, she became the oldest living person in Kyoto Prefecture. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Shizuko Ōtani.

Her age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 26 July 2017. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
