Sarraillé was born in Assat, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 2 December 1910, to parents Jean and Eugénie Moulies. In 1931, she married her close neighbor, Pierre-Joseph Sarraillé. The couple had three children: Juliette, Jeannot (died between 2010 and 2014), and Lucienne. Her entire working life was devoted to agriculture and market gardening. She was widowed at the age of 54. She retired at the age of 80.
At the age of 100, she was visited by the Mayor of Assat, Pierre Rodriguez, along with several other town officials, who presented her with a floral arrangement and a shawl. In his speech, the Mayor commended her for her courage, her lifetime of hard work, the love she had for her three children, as well as her vitality and sharp memory. At the age of 104, it was reported that she continued to read the newspaper daily, retained a sharp memory, and displayed remarkable vitality. On her 106th birthday, Pierre Rodriguez, along with Christiane Debroux, a municipal councilor, and Berthe Latuberne from the CCAS, visited her and presented her with a floral arrangement. At the time, she had 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Sarraillé passed away in Assat, on 16 December 2020, at the age of 110 years, 14 days.
