BIOGRAPHY
Anna Braun was born in present-day Poland on 5 July 1911. In 1971, she came to Steinhofel from Poland with her two daughters, because a part of her family already lived there.
By the time of her 109th birthday, she had five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Anna Braun died in Steinhofel, Brandenburg, Germany on 29 October 2022, at the age of 111 years, 116 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Brandenburg.
