Angèle Legloire was born in the commune of Guignen in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany, France, on 10 February 1910. She married Charles Marie Joseph Legloire, and they had a son, also named Charles.
In January 1952, her husband passed away after a long illness, at the age of 42. She was left to manage the farm and raise their son alone, often struggling with financial difficulties.
At the age of 98, she moved into the nursing home in Bourg-des-Comptes, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Legloire passed away in Bourg-des-Comptes, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France, on February 19 February 2020, at the age of 110 years, 9 days.
Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 29 March 2024, but it has yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
