Marie Louise Andrée Roy (née Puzenat) was a French supercentenarian.
Andrée Roy was born in the commune of Neufchâteau in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France, on 23 February 1906. She often accompanied her husband—a Renault executive, with whom she had no children—on distant journeys before his passing in 1982.
At the age of 110, she was still living independently in her apartment, which overlooked the city center. Whenever possible, she would go out for a visit to the hairdresser or take a stroll, arm in arm with her caretaker. She only ate one meal a day but still enjoyed the occasional glass of champagne.
Andrée Roy passed away in the commune of Ville-d’Avray in the western suburbs of Paris, on 26 December 2017, at the age of 111 years, 306 days.
Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO). The validation is yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
