Ana Félix Vallejo Díaz was a Colombian semi-supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Vallejo Díaz was born in the village of La Amalia near Supía, Caldas Department, Colombia, on 17 January 1907. She had three sisters (Julia, Carmen and Lola), and five brothers (Julio, Jesús, Pastor, Manuel and Jorge). In her early 20s, she married Gerardo Gómez. Although she wanted to have children, she was unable to do so because, at the age of 15, she had her womb removed when a cyst was detected. Her husband lived with his mother and worked with her in a bakery until he got married. At some point, they moved to Manizales where her husband joined the police force. Later on, the couple separated because she found him with another woman.

At the age of 108, she resided at the Hogar del Abuelo Puertas de Dios Foundation, where she had moved in 2008. At the time, she had a niece and nephew living in the United States.

Vallejo Díaz passed away in Manizales, Caldas Department, Colombia, on 11 September 2015, at the age of 108 years, 237 days.
