BIOGRAPHY

Glangeaud-Doudet was born in the commune of Limoges in Haute-Vienne department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, on 27 March 1910. At some point, she got married and had at least one daughter. However, she divorced in 1944 and never remarried.

At 110, she was still living in the house she had occupied since 1927. At that time, she received support from two home aides, and every other month, her daughter Gabrielle (aged 87) would leave her Parisian home to stay with her mother. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it became harder for her daughter to visit, so she regularly checked in by phone.

Glangeaud-Doudet passed away in Limoges, on 31 December 2020, at the age of 110 years, 279 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 15 May 2024, but it has yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
