BIOGRAPHY

Anderson was born in Minnesota, United States, on 21 January 1910 as the youngest of five children. Her family were devout Christians, and Anderson’s childhood was largely spent at church and partaking in activities at Bethany Covenant Church in Minneapolis.

A day before graduating from South High School in 1928, she started working at Butler Brothers Company in Minneapolis, where she was employed for the next twelve years. Her husband had previously graduated from North Park Theolgical Seminary. The couple had two sons. The couple was involved in the ministries of the various congregations they served together over the next thirty-five years. Her husband passed away after suffering a stroke in 1991.
