BIOGRAPHY

Alma Juzek was born in Richland, Colfax County, Nebraska, USA, on 20 November 1909, as the second of four children born to parents William Juzek (1879–1954) and Anna Sloup (1889–1954). Her siblings were Emma Benes (1907–2004), William Juzek (1914–1973) and Charles Juzek (1919–1999). Both of her parents were of Czech descent.

Juzek never married or had children. In 2009, she moved to Clarkson Care and Rehab Center.

Juzek passed away in Clarkson, Nebraska, USA, on 12 October 2020, at the age of 110 years, 327 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of death, she was the second-oldest living person in the U.S. state of Nebraska, behind Thelma Sutcliffe.
